Matilde Miniati is a PhD Candidate in Global Histories, Cultures and Politics at the University of Bologna (XXXIX Cycle). Her research explores humanitarianism, international solidarity and informal networks for Western Sahara, examining the role of Italy and Spain in the 1970s-90s.
She collaborates with the ERC project “HumanEuroMed” (https://www.humaneuromed.unifi.it/). Since 2023, she is been working at the Historical Archives of the European Union (European University Institute - EUI), contributing to civic education and public history initiatives.
