President of the Professional College of Medical Radiology Health Technicians of the Province of Bologna Bologna (Italy) The Provincial College of TSRM is a non-economic public law body, endowed with its own management and decision-making autonomy. It is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and coordinated in its institutional activities by the National Federation of Professional Medical Radiology Technical Colleges established in 1965 with the law 1103. The F.N.C.P.T.S.R.M. it currently includes 67 provincial and interprovincial colleges, for a total of 27,000 Medical Radiology Health Technicians. The law entrusts the colleges with two purposes. The first is the protection of the citizen/user who has the right, enshrined in the Constitution, to receive health services from qualified personnel, in possession of a specific qualifying qualification The second purpose is addressed to medical radiology technicians enrolled in the Register. The College is required to protect the TSRM in their professionalism: it exercises the power of discipline, opposes illegal practices, supervises compliance with the Code of Conduct, promotes the cultural growth of members, guarantees information. The governing body of the College is the Governing Council, which is renewed every three years through an electoral consultation of all members.
