Principal scientific activities and responsibilities
First the proponent focused its research mainly on the study of
the structural-functional organization of mammalian cell
nucleolus. Then he was interested on the relationship between
the nucleolus changes and cancer in tumor pathology. At the present
time, he is studying the relationship between changes of ribosome
biogenesis and tumorigenesis.
