Massimiliano Gaetano Onorato

Massimiliano G. Onorato is an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Bologna. After completing his Ph.D. in Economics at Bocconi University, he was a Postdoctoral Associate in the Leitner Program in International and Comparative Political Economy at Yale University. He spent Fall 2025 as a Visiting Associate Professor at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies (Yale). His research interests include political economy, economic history, and economic development.
