Curriculum vitae

Research fellow in geophysics at the University of Bologna, working on numerical modelling of natural hazards, with a focus on slope stability and landslide processes in subaerial and submarine environments.

Her research interests include slope stability modelling (LEM, FEM), landslide dynamics and tsunamigenic potential, as well as the integration of geophysical, geotechnical and GIS data.

She obtained her PhD in Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges from the University of Bologna (2025). She previously earned an MSc in Earth System Physics (with honours) and a BSc in Astronomy from the same university.

She has conducted research at the University of Bologna and at the CIMNE – International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (Barcelona), focusing on numerical modelling of slope stability and landslide-induced tsunamis.

She is author and co-author of peer-reviewed publications and regularly presents at international conferences.
