I conduct research in the fields of zooarchaeology and museomics, combining multiple methodological approaches, including molecular analyses of modern and ancient DNA, stable isotope studies, genomic bioinformatics, and morphological and morphometric investigations.
My work focuses on understanding historical changes in species, genetic, genomic, and ecological diversity of large marine vertebrates, with particular attention to environmental and anthropogenic drivers.
Since 2022, I have been a member of the
Laboratory of Genetics and Genomics of Marine Environmental Resources (GenoDREAM)
