Adjunct Professor and Research Fellow at the University of Bologna, Department of Interpreting and Translation (DIT), Forlì campus. Her current research fellowship, "Calligraphy and Graffiti in Contemporary China: A Focus on Socio-Political and Economic Aspects," explores politically engaged and socially resonant works, such as the Chinese Emotional Graffiti movement. She earned her PhD in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies on March 31, 2025, with the dissertation "Graffiti and Chinese Calligraphy: Looking for Identity in Fusion," examining the relationship between calligraphy and graffiti in mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Since 2021, she has been part of the ERC-funded project WRITE – New Forms of Calligraphy in China: A Contemporary Culture Mirror. She co-authored I graffiti in Cina (1088press, 2022) and Graffiti in China (1088press, 2024), and has published several articles on Chinese graffiti and calligraphy (e.g. Kervan, 2024; Cafoscarina, 2025).
