The PhD project focuses on the archaeofaunal study of remains stored in museums to understand the socio-economic aspects of mountain communities in Italy during the Bronze Age.

This project involves the use of traditional archaeozoological investigations complemented by biomolecular analyses, particularly ancient DNA and Zooarchaeology by Mass Spectrometry (ZooMS), as well as the development of protocols for the study and management of archaeofaunal specimens stored in museums.
