Born in Bologna on July 11st 1963.
Graduate in law at the University of Bologna on July 9th 1987,
with honors, doing a thesis on laws of civil procedure.
On 1993 he obtained the title of Phd on procedural law.
From 1998 he is a Researcher of laws of procedural law at the
Law faculty of the University of Bologna. On 2001 he obtained
confirmation on role.
Since the 2019/20 academic year, he has been in charge of the Sports Justice course.
He is a member of the Italian Association between the Scholars
of the Civil Trial.
He is the author of numerous essays and articles, published in Italian and foreign journals, on civil procedural law, bankruptcy law, administrative procedural law, and sports justice. He has given numerous seminars and lectures at Italian and foreign universities and has been a speaker at various conferences and study meetings. He participated at many
conventions e congress, also of worldwide significance
