Mario works within the RESTART - Net4Future project, focusing on emerging technological, cognitive, and societal factors and their impact on technological solutions for future telecommunication networks and services.
As a PhD candidate in Information Technologies at the University of Santiago de Compostela - CiTIUS, his research interests focus on mixed-motive multi-agent setting, cooperative AI, human-AI teaming e trustworthy AI, exploring these areas from multiple perspectives: technological, cognitive, social, and design.
He has collaborated on national and international projects with institutions such as the European Commission, University of Bologna, CiTIUS, and Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is a Fellow of the global initiative "All Tech Is Human Mentorship Program".
He serves as Executive Officer & Secretary of the IPSA and co-founder of the NGO "South Working - Lavorare dal Sud".
