Maric/Martin Lorusso (he/they) is a PhD candidate of the 38th cycle in Psychology. Their doctoral dissertation investigated the obstacles that trans communities face in their contexts and the strategies they put in place to overcome them, adopting an ecological perspective.
In addition, t/he/y studies the socio-cultural aspects of the experiences of young trans and nonbinary people and their parents.
They carry out research with the LGBTQIA+ community, with particular attention to experiences that are still little explored, such as those of nonbinary, asexual, and bisexual people and within an intersectional perspective.
His work values the knowledge produced within communities and the grassroots actions for social justice, such as activism and advocacy. His research methods are mainly qualitative and participatory approaches, with a reflective stance.
