Short Bio

Mariana is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bologna, specializing in pollinator ecology. Her journey began during her undergraduate thesis in Argentina, where she studied entomophilous pollination in rapeseed fields. Graduating with honors, she pursued a Ph.D. supported by a scholarship from Argentina's National Council for Scientific and Technical Research. Her research focuses on sustainable practices and landscape effects on pollination by solitary bees in peri-urban farms. She has collaborated internationally, led bee ecology projects, and conducted a UK internship.
