Maria Luisa Ruspi was born in Bologna (Bo), on 07th December, 1990.
She is a PhD student in Mechanics at University of Bologna, with the project "Development and application of methods for biomechanical characterization and optimization of implantable devices for the spine" under the supervision of Prof. L. Cristofolini.
Maria Luisa Ruspi earned her Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2016, at University of Bologna with thesis "Study of the kinematics of the freestyle swimming through inertial sensors" , in Biomechanics under the supervision of Prof. A. Cappello.
In 2013 earned her Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering, at University of Bologna, with thesis in Biomechanics, under the supervision of Prof. A. Cappello.
The research field of the PhD covers full-field and contact-less measurements technique, such as the Digital Image Correlation (DIC) and tests in vitro for the mechanical characterization of spine.
