Maria Giulia Pirini

Adjunct professor at the School of Specialization in Pathological Anatomy at the University of Bologna, Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences; he holds a position in advanced specialization and serves as the coordinator for the soft tissue and bone pathology programs and for the diagnosis of visceral and retroperitoneal sarcomas - ERN EURACAN of the IRCCS University Hospital of Bologna-Policlinico S. Orsola-Malpighi.

She conducts research in the field of musculoskeletal neoplastic pathology and retroperitoneal sarcomas. Her research interests focus particularly on bone sarcomas. Involved in national research projects, she collaborates with other hospitals, including the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna. She is the author of several publications and has received various awards and recognitions.
