PhD. I study human skeletal remains in Evolutionary Anthropology with applications in Forensics, ethical and musem aspects. Research and Education are aimed at reconstructing biology and behavior of past populations. I am UNIBO member of the Self Steering Committee on Cultural Heritage and of the doctoral committee UNA-HER-DOC of the UNAEuropa Alliance. I teach at the School of Sciences, School of Letters and BC, School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage. I coordinate ERASMUS exchanges [Coimbra (P), London (UK)]. Since 2005, I have in charge the museum anthropological collections and from 2018 the Museum of Evolution. From 2008, I run the Master in Skeletal and Forensic Anthropology and Paleopathology (with UNIMI and UNIPI). I am member of the MIBACT (ICCD) group to define 'The guidelines to manage the anthropological remains'. I coordinate H2020 MSCA BABY PACE (2020-2023). Member of the Advisory Board of the project 'Making Ancestors: The Politics of Death in European Prehistory' (ERC AG 2019, PI: John Robb, Univesity of Cambridge).
