PhD, PA from 2005 (ASN for Ordinary Professor). I study human skeletal remains in Evolutionary Anthropology with applications in Forensics and I am interested in the ethical and musem aspects related to their management. My scientific publications (in peer-review journals), teaching and dissemination activities are aimed at reconstructing biology and behavior of past populations. I teach at the Schools of Sciences (also in international master degree) and of Letters and BC (School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage). I organized conferences and held lectures by invitation in Italy and abroad. I coordinate an ERASMUS exchange with Coimbra (P) and London (UK). In 2012, I helped start the LMCU in Conservation and Restoration of BC, which I coordinated in 2013-16. Since 2005, I have been Head of the Museum of Anthropology (SMA) and from 2018 scientific referent of the Museum of Evolution. In 2008, I organized the Master in Skeletal and Forensic Anthropology and Paleopathology (with UNIMI and UNIPI) that I run. I am part of the Self Steering Committee on Cultural Heritage for UNIBO in the UNAEuropa alliance.
