Maria Clara Nucci is currently a Full Professor of Mathematical Physics at University of Bologna. She graduated in Mathematics summa cum laude at University of Perugia, from 1979 to 1981 was then a recipient of a post-graduate Fellowship from the National Research Council of Italy, soon after was confirmed as Tenured Researcher, and in 2005 promoted as an Associate Professor in Mathematical Physics. In 2021 she became a Full Professor in Mathematical Physics at University of Messina. In 1985 she was awarded a N.A.T.O. Fellowship in Mathematics. From 1986 to 1991 she was Visiting Assistant Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta (U.S.A.). She has also been invited at universities in U.K., Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Sweden, Australia. She has presented her research at many International Congresses and Workshops. From 2000 to 2001 she was a Member of the Mathematics and Computer Science Panel of Ireland. From 1995 to 2009 she was an Associate Editor of Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, and from 2003 to 2020 a Member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics.
