Curriculum vitae

Junior assistant professor (fixed term) in Surveying and Mapping

From 2001 to 2024 technician of the DICAM Survey and Geomatics Laboratory (LARIG), she plays the role of Manager with Specialist Function in support of teaching and research activities as "Specialist in surveying and digital processing of geomatic data". The technical and research activity is carried out in particular on 3D modeling starting from terrestrial scans or photogrammetric surveys and classical topographic applications for controlling and monitoring the movements of ground or structures.

Education

Graduated in Civil Engineering in 1997 at University of Bologna, at the same University she obtained a PhD in Geodetic and Topographic Sciences (XIV cycle) in 2001.

Scientific activities

She participated in numerous national and international conferences (ASITA National Conference, SIFET Conference, ISPRS Conference, Symposium CIPA)

Co-author in 40 national and international scientific publications including conference proceedings, journals and book chapters.

She contributed to in numerous national and international research projects, agreements for scientific research.

Professional activities

Co-supervisor of about 60 BSc and MSc degree theses.

Supervisor for the internships, hosted by the Survey and Geomatics Laboratory of DICAM.

Main activities as geomatics technician:

- High precision 3D surveys and geometric analysis of digital data for the purposes of documentation, study of decay and restoration

- Execution of metric surveys for the control or testing of buildings and infrastructures

- Processing and analysis of digital data for the study of soil movements

- Recovery in metric environment of historical images for multi-temporal analysis

- Monitoring of structures and the territory, even in case of disasters (e.g. landslides)

- Fusion of multi-source data and metric comparisons between 3D products obtained with different instruments, methodologies or algorithms

- Three-dimensional modeling of land and surfaces for territorial and non-territorial applications

- Logistic organization of survey campaigns.
