Maria Laura Vega Pittao

Lecturer Professor and Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences of the University of Bologna, she conducts her research in the field of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation and sleep disorders. Her scientific interests focus in particular on respiratory physiology and mechanics monitoring, patient-ventilator interactions, and home ventilation. She is currently focusing her research on the optimization of non-invasive respiratory support in acute and chronic respiratory failure. Go to the Curriculum vitae
