Maria Ferrante

Her first name is Maria, but almost everyone calls her by the middle name, Rosaria. Full professor at the Bologna University since 2011, her research interest are in the area of Economic Statistics. Recently she focuses on the small area estimation models for socio-economic indicators (of poverty, inequality, productivity), on the analysis of firms’ internationalization and fragmentation, on the estimation of the impact of the firms’ choices on productivity. Active in joint national and international research projects, she has published in several international journals. She’s Chair of the University Quality Assurance Board from 2013 to 2019.
