Her research activity relates the main topics of the scientific sector ING-IND/15: Human-Centred Design, Ergonomics e Human Factors, Product and process digitalization in the context of Industry 4.0, User Experience Analysis and Human-Machine Interaction, Virtual Prototyping Technologies and immersive and interactive virtual environments, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
She assumed the role of Task Leader and Work Package Leader in several European project founded under the 7PF, HORIZON 2020 and HORIZON EUROPE.
She is Associate Editor of JIII (Journal of Industrial Information Integration, Elsevier), IJASM (International Journal of Agile Systems and Management, Inderscience) and JIIM (Journal of Industrial Integration and Management, World Scientific). She is member of the Editorial Board of IJCIM (International Journal of Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Taylor&Francis).
She is member of the Board of the ISTE (International society of Transdisciplinary Engineering) and member of the Scientific Committee / Advisory Board of numerous international conferences and research communities.
