Master degree with honours in Industrial Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona) on October 16, 2007.
Ph.D. Degree in MechanicFrom June 2024 up to now: Member of the "Commissione Paritetica" of the Dept. Industrial Engineering, Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bolognaal Engineering with a PhD thesis titled “Innovative methods and advanced digital technologies to support product design in collaborative environments” on January, 2011.
Associate Professor at the Dept. of Engineering Enzo Ferrari of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia from November 1, 2017 to November 1, 2023.
Full Professor at the Dept. of Industrial Engineering of the University of Bologna from November 2, 2023.
Co-founder of the Xilab research group (www.xilab.unimore.it).
Founding member of a University Spin-off in 2010 (www.hyperlean.eu ).
Her research activity relates the main topics of the scientific sector ING-IND/15: Human-Centred Design, Ergonomics e Human Factors, Product and process digitalization in the context of Industry 4.0, User Experience Analysis and Human-Machine Interaction, Virtual Prototyping Technologies and immersive and interactive virtual environments, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
She assumed the role of Task Leader and Work Package Leader in several European project founded under the 7PF, HORIZON 2020 and HORIZON EUROPE.
