Margherita Mottola is a bioengineer, postdoctoral Research Fellow of the “Alma Mater Research Institute on Global Challenges and Climate Change (Alma Climate)", University of Bologna, working at the Pathology Department of Maggiore Hospital, in Bologna, under the joint supervision of Prof. M. Fiorentino and Prof. A. Bevilacqua.
Currently, her research activities focus on developing multi-omics tumour imaging biomarkers exploiting Artificial Intelligence and explainable Machine Learning technologies, with diagnostics, prognostics, and predictive purposes.
