Marco Maria Mattei is Professor of Financial Accounting at the University of Bologna. He earned a PhD in Accounting at the University of Pisa and was visiting scholar at the University of Edinburgh and at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is the Director of the Master in Finance, Control and Auditing at Bologna Business School. His research focuses on financial information and capital markets. His main publications investigate the determinants of earnings quality and of analyst forecasts’ accuracy. He is a Certified Public Accounting in Italy and serves as advisor to public and private firms.
