Master Thesis in Trajectory Optimization
Thesis title "Mesh refinement strategies for Nonlinear Trajectory Optimization"
In the context of the ERC Project STARGATE I'm looking for a master student to work on mesh refinement strategies for the optimal control tool RAPTOR.
reference scenarios include (but are not limited to)
- reusable rockets / multi-stage launch vehicles
- probes for asteroid landing
- rendezvous and proximity operations
At the moment of starting with the thesis work the candidates must have no more than two pending exams. The internship activity (tirocinio) can be merged within the thesis, for a total period of work of 6 months.
