Engineering graduate with a Master's in Quality Management, and Strategic Consultant specializing in Sustainable Development, with expertise in reporting processes, certification systems, and ESG integration across building assets, infrastructure, materials, and products.

He has accrued twenty-five years of national and international experience, serving in senior expert and advisory roles, including:

G20 Environment 2021: Member of the Committee of Experts

Italian Prime Minister’s Office: Member of the Expert Committee supporting the Government Commissioner for the 2016 Earthquake Reconstruction Program

Ministry of Environment and Energy Security: Member of the Working Group on Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) for Buildings, Road Infrastructure, Green and Blue Infrastructure

Ministry of Environment and Energy Security: Member of the Working Group for the 2023 revision of the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC)

Green Building Council Italy: President (2020–2023)

He is author and co-author of numerous articles and publications. Since 2009, he has supported the localization, implementation, and periodic update of the principal LEED and GBC energy-environmental rating systems for neighborhood-scale sustainability certification, for historic and contemporary buildings, and for residential condominium typologies. Since 2024, he has been leading the development of national guidelines for the extension of the SITES rating system to heritage-related green and blue infrastructure.

Since 2007, he has advised several major national organizations in shaping their green building and green infrastructure strategies in alignment with leading national and international energy-environmental rating systems.

He currently serves as Sustainability and Policy Advisor supporting various public and private sector organizations, including:

Italian Superior Council of Public Works: Member of the Working Group for PFTE guidelines, serving as coordinator for the sustainability subgroup

RSE S.p.A.: Expert in sustainable development processes for buildings and infrastructure
