Marco Mancuso is a contemporary art critic and curator, in the relationship with technology and science and in the dialogue with the fields of design, architecture and sound. He is PhD in Digital Cultures at Iuav University in Venice, lecturer at Node Center for Curatorial Studies Berlin and at Scuola di Alta Formazione of Fondazione Moderna Arti Visive.
Since twenty years he has been focusing on how interdisciplinary discourse observe the ways in which technoscience influences society and the relationship between human beings and environment. Alongside, he's studying the evolution of design, production and market dynamics of the media and digital art. Founder at Digicult, his essays and interviews are published on the website and in magazines, books and catalogues.
He is advisory member for the project “Future Innovation” at Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia, partner of the program EMAP/EMARE, among the founders of the SSH! - Sound Studies Hub at Iuav University and published the books "Arte, Tecnologia e Scienza" (2018) e “Intervista con la New Media Art" (2020) for Mimesis.
