• Characterization of Monolayer Protected Nanoparticles (MNP) by employing EPR technique coupled with specifically designed spin probes.
• Characterization of Host-Guest complexes by the application of radical spin probe techniques.
• Synthesis and characterization of new classes of spin labels containing persistent radicals different from TEMPO.
• Development of Mechanically Interlocked Molecules and molecular devices based on radical motive.
• Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) characterization of new neutral and charged organic free radicals.
• Synthesis and characterization of paramagnetic guanosines.
• Polymer stabilization from photoxidation and thermoxidative degradation by employing hindered amine stabilizers (HALS).
• Development of new oxidative radical processes of industrial and synthetic relevance characterized by a low environmental and economic impact and based on new N-hydroxyderivatives as key catalysts in the presence of air or as terminal economical "green" oxidants under mild conditions.
• Development of reductive synthetic procedure based on free radicals avoiding highly toxic tin derivatives.
