Marco De Nardi

Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology at DIMEVET (UniBo) since November 2023. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Bologna (IT) in 2002 and then specialized in Veterinary Epidemiology at RVC and LSHTM, UK, in 2008. He is a Diplomate (Population Medicine) of the ECVPH. From 2004 to 2007 he worked in East Africa with NGOs involved in the implementation of transboundary diseases surveillance and control strategies. In 2009-2013, he worked in research and technical assistance projects at IZSVe in the National, OIE and FAO Reference Centers for Avian Influenza and Rabies. During 2013-2023, he worked as senior consultant, epidemiologist and Science Manager for the consulting company SAFOSO AG based in Switzerland.
