Short Bio

PhD in Cultural and Environmental Heritage (Greek Language and Literature: L-FIL.LET/02), he is research fellow at the FrameLAB of the Department of Cultural Heritage of Ravenna (University of Bologna). He is currently engaged in a project aimed at the creation of a digital atlas of the Italian landscape in the roman imperial age by using GIS technologies.

He is specialized in the study and interpretation of classical texts, with a particular focus on ancient epic poetry. His current research is centered on the methods of digitizing and georeferencing ancient literary landscapes based on Greek and Latin texts, and he has taken part in several projects of cultural heritage communication through Digital Storytelling methodologies.
