• Students should give the supervisor the final chapters or parts of heir dissertations at least two weeks ahead of the official deadline.
• Artificial intelligence tools can be useful under certain circumstances, but they often produce imprecise texts, for example "hallucinating" historical events and sources. Moreover, using them means not doing the work that consists of learning how to write complex texts. Writing a thesis means developing your ability to reason about complex ideas and events. Practicing fundamental skills of argumentation, critical reading, and writing will improve your abilities as students and in everything you will do in the future. For these reasons, the use of artificial intelligence tools and applications is prohibited for the purposes of thesis writing, except for grammatical revision; you must let the teacher know if you use it.
