2024-PRESENT: Research fellowship at Department of Biological, Geological, and Environmental Sciences (BiGea). Project: Cyanotoxins oxidation by atmospheric plasma, a green technology for water decontamination – PLASMADETOX, 2022EFEEKR - CUP J53D23008640 006.

2023-2024: Research fellowship at Department of Biological, Geological, and Environmental Sciences (BiGea). Project: Microalgae as circular ingredients to reduce the carbon footprint in aquaculture feeds. CN Biodiversity Spoke2 Activity3 “Action 3.1 Circular feeds for carbon neutrality” – PNNR Project.

2025: Best Contribution Under 40 Award. Annual meeting of Phycology working group (Italian Botanical Society-SBI), Nov. 14–15th 2025, Roma (Italy). Free publication fees on Plant Biosystems to submit a paper for the Topical Collection “The algal world: functional, ecological, systematics and biotechnological aspects”.

2022: Best Talk Award. VIII International Plant Science Conference-IPSC (Bologna, 7-9 Sep. 2022).

2020: Best Poster Award, international conference NaToxAq-Natural Toxins: Environmental Fate and Safe Water Supply (online, 24-25th Sep. 2020).

 

International experience

Nov 2021-Mar 2022: Research mobility (4 months) at Department of Microbiology, University of Helsinki (Finland). The discovery of new secondary metabolites from cyanobacteria through bioinformatics. Partially fundaded by Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeship.

Gen-Apr 2016: Trainee (3 months) at Fjordforsk A/S (Norway). Data collection on fish population decline with respect to ferry traffic and aquaculture plants along Norwegian coast. Partially fundaded by Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeship.
