Manuel Fiori, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor of "Laboratorio di scrittura" (Writing Laboratory) for the Master's Degree programme at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Bologna. Within the same institution, he also actively collaborates with the Chair of History of Philosophy as a Teaching Assistant.
He obtained his PhD in Philosophy, Science, Cognition, and Semiotics (37th cycle) from the University of Bologna, in co-tutelle with the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, defending a dissertation titled On the Problem of Obscure Representations in Kant's Anthropology. A Historical-Critical Survey, under the supervision of Professors Francesco Cerrato and Heiner F. Klemme.
His research interests focus on the theories of unconscious processes in the philosophy of mind of the German Enlightenment, with a particular emphasis on Immanuel Kant's thought.
