Mahdiyeh Tabatabaei earned a BSc in Architectural Technology and an MSc in Architectural Engineering from IAU, along with an Engineering Skills License (Level 1) from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Iran. Her academic background is complemented by eight years of project supervision, four years of teaching at IAU campuses, and membership in Khesht-Argh-e-Azerbaijan, a building consulting firm.
She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. (Cycle 38), where her research employs ML (Machine Learning) to predict solar energy potentials through a case study in Bologna. As a Marco Polo Grant awardee, she conducted a four-month research stay in Singapore at SERIS, a Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore at NUS (National University of Singapore), specializing in PV (photovoltaic Panel) technologies.
