Magalì Fia

Magalì Fia is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management and a member of the Steering Group of the Yunus Social Business Center at the University of Bologna. She graduated with honors in Economics and Management from the University of Trento and holds a Ph.D. in Law and Economics from the University of Turin – Collegio Carlo Alberto. She was a visiting Ph.D. scholar at Cornell Law School (NY, USA) and a postdoctoral researcher at the Politecnico di Milano (Tiresia research group). Her research focuses on business ethics, corporate governance, and impact assessment in companies and public institutions. She teaches Ethics and Sustainability in Business Decisions (CLAMDA) and Sustainability Reporting (AEGI), as well as Business Ethics & Sustainability and Social Innovation in several master programs at Bologna Business School. She collaborates with public and regional institutions on policy evaluation projects. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of Econometica, the Core Faculty of BBS, and the Evaluation Experts Group (GEV) for the Italian Research Evaluation Exercise (VQR 2020–2024), field Econ06 (formerly SECS-P/07).
