Keywords: Polish history, Transatlantic Relations, Cold War, European Integration, Human Rights, Archives for International History

My research interests focus on the history of international relations in the second half of the twentieth century, with particular attention to Central and Eastern Europe and its gradual engagement with Western institutions.

A central strand of my work examines the history of Solidarność, explored both in its domestic development and in its relations with the European Community, as well as the broader framework of the European Community’s external relations with Poland. Within this context, my research also addresses the parallel track of transatlantic relations during the late Cold War.

Another area of interest concerns the history of human rights, approached from a comparative perspective and centred on the cases of the United States, Poland, and Argentina, with particular attention to the interaction between domestic politics and international dynamics.

Finally, my research includes a strong methodological interest in sources for international history, especially the use of diplomatic archives, transnational sources, and materials produced by both state and non-state actors.
