The primary focus of my research group is on marine population and ecosystem dynamics, as well as fish stock assessment and integrated ecosystem assessment, at national and international level. We investigates the spatial and temporal dynamics of exploited fish populations and ecosystems in relation to fishing pressure, predator-prey and competitive interactions, eutrophication and climate. The final goal is to foster an ecosystem approach to fisheries management and a sustainable use of the natural resources.
