Associate professor of Physiology at the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology. His research activity mainly focuses on cellular, molecular and functional mechanisms of nervous and glial cells and their interactions in CNS physiology, as well as on their alterations in pain, neurogenetic disorders, and neuroinflammatory processes.
