based on fluorescence, chemiluminescence and
electrochemiluminescence detection for medical diagnostics,
environmental and food monitoring, studies of cultural heritage
- Development of methods for conjugation of new labels to
biomolecules for the development of bioassays and for the
immobilization of biospecific probes on different materials (nylon,
polycarbonate or gold surfaces).
- Development of new integrated analytical systems (Lateral-Flow
ImmunoAssays, microfluidic systems) based on biospecific
recognition processes for diagnostic applications.
- Development of new portable devices (POCT o lab-on-a-chip) for
multiplexed detection based on chemiluminescence and using
microfabrication technology and microfluidics
- Development of ultrasensitive imaging techniques
relying on immunological and nucleic acids hybridization and
fluorescence, bioluminescence, chemiluminescence and
electrochemiluminescence detection. Applications on macro- and
microsamples.
