Luigi Parrotta

Junior assistant professor (fixed-term) at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences at University of Bologna since july 2023. He has previously conducted research with obtaining a PhD in science and technology applied to the environment. He has done research in the field of cell plant biology and on environmental stresses. His research interests are directed particularly on understanding the mechanisms of response to environmental stimuli and interactions with specific cell structures. His research focuses on understanding and analysis of the construction of the cell wall in the pollen tube and proteomic analyzes of different studies on the effects of environmental stress.
Engaged in national research projects and collaborations with active both nationally and internationally. Author of several publications in peer-reviewed journals, has participated in several conferences and Summer School, with oral and poster presentations. Go to the Curriculum vitae
