Short Bio

Ludovica Rubbini is a PhD candidate in Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures: Diversity and Inclusion, curriculum EDGES – Gender and Women’s Studies (41st cycle), supervisor: Prof. Gilberta Golinelli.

She graduated in Linguistic Mediation (English/Russian) at the SSML “Carlo Bo” in Bologna (2018) and obtained with honors her Master’s degree in European, American and Postcolonial Languages and Literatures (curriculum English Studies) at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2022), also completing the 24 ECTS required for teaching qualification. In 2023 she earned a first-level Master’s in Didactic Methodologies and Tools for the Inclusion of Students with Special Educational Needs at the University G. Fortunato of San Marino, together with IT certifications (Interactive Whiteboard, Coding, innovative digital tools) and a specialization course in CLIL Methodologies.

Her research investigates women’s literature in the Early Modern period, with particular focus on the English context, highlighting female authorship and exploring practices of reading, rereading, and resistance across the literary genres of the time.
