Education
Luciana Aloisio graduated in Architecture from the University of Bologna, Department of Architecture, Cesena Campus, in 2024, with a thesis in Architecture. Since 2025, she has been a PhD candidate in Architectural Composition at the Doctoral School in The Culture of the Project at IUAV University of Venice.
Academic Career
She obtained her single-cycle master’s degree in Architecture with a thesis in Architecture at the University of Bologna, Department of Architecture, Campus of Cesena, in 2024. Thesis title: "La fanciulla dei pensieri blu", final grade: 110/110.
In July 2025, she won the competitive public selection for admission to the PhD in Architectural Composition at the Doctoral School in The Culture of the Project at IUAV University of Venice.
Since 2025, she has been enrolled in and attending the PhD in Architectural Composition at the Doctoral School in The Culture of the Project at IUAV University of Venice. Research title: Le strutture dell’espressione. Gesto compositivo e forma tecnica nelle architetture di Paulo Archias Mendes da Rocha.
Teaching Activities
Since 2025, she has continuously carried out teaching activities as a tutor within the Architecture Thesis Laboratory of the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree in Architecture, Campus of Cesena, University of Bologna. She participates in seminars related to architectural composition and expression.
Since 2026, she has collaborated as an assistant lecturer (cultore della materia) in the course Theories of Architectural Composition, taught by Prof. Ildebrando Clemente, within the Single-Cycle Degree Programme of the Department of Architecture at the University of Bologna, Campus of Cesena.
Research Activity
She collaborates in research activities within the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership in Higher Education project entitled Archea – UpGrant. Memory and Invention of the European Built Environment. Research coordinator: Prof. Cristina Pallini, Polytechnic University of Milan. Scientific coordinator of the research unit of the Department of Architecture, University of Bologna: Prof. Lamberto Amistadi.
Awards and Recognitions
2025 – Project selected and published in: EUmies Awards Young Talent 2025 – Shortlisted, organized by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe and Creative Europe Open Call. "The Girl of the Blue Thoughts". Project for a museum in the Casentino National Park.
May–November 2025 – The project entitled The Girl of the Blue Thoughts (selected within Intelligens Talent – EUmies Awards. Young Talent 2025) was exhibited at Palazzo Mora in Venice as part of a collateral event of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.
