Lucia Petronio is a 41st-cycle PhD candidate in Architecture and Project Cultures at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on spatial analysis and decision-support methods applied to urban and territorial planning. Her research interests include Geographic Information Systems (GIS), multi-criteria evaluation methods, and the development of Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS) to support ecological transition and climate resilience.
As a member of the Real Estate Appraisal and Evaluation research group, her current research focuses on the integration of urban form and climate resilience, investigating how data, indicators, and spatial analysis methods can support and operationalise the development and evaluation of urban and territorial transformation scenarios.
She graduated with honours in Building Engineering–Architecture from the University of Bologna and has gained research experience in both national and international contexts. She participates in research projects, scientific collaborations, and conferences addressing territorial planning, environmental sustainability, and evaluation methods.
