Luca conducts research in the field of High-Performance Computing (HPC), with a focus on workload management and simulation for large-scale computing systems. His research interests include the design of modular and extensible frameworks for discrete event simulation, energy-efficient scheduling strategies, and software architectures aimed at improving reproducibility and extensibility in HPC simulators. He obtained his MSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Bologna, with a thesis focused on the architectural redesign of the AccaSim HPC simulator.
