Member of the Wistar - UniBo Ph.D. Exchange Program, he carries out his research activities at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA). His interests are mainly directed towards the characterization of the Integrator multiprotein complex and PP2A phosphatase, as well as their roles in transcriptional regulation and the pause-release mechanism of RNA Polymerase II. Currently, his efforts are focused on the study of the INTS6 subunit of Integrator and PPP2R1A, a regulatory subunit of PP2A.
