Luca Galati

Luca Galati is a Research Fellow at the Department of Management of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. He was previously a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance and Accounting at the University of Wollongong (Australia) and the University of Molise, respectively. He was also an Industrial Ph.D. Researcher in Market Microstructure at the Rozetta Institute (Australia), and a Foreign Exchange Benchmark Surveillance Specialist at Refinitiv, an LSEG business (UK). In 2023, he was a Visiting Research Fellow at Florida Polytechnic University (USA).

His research mainly focuses on Digital Finance, Empirical Market Microstructure, and Financial and Forensic Accounting. His publications appear in well-known academic journals such as the Journal of Banking & Finance, The Journal of Futures Markets, International Review of Financial Analysis, Finance Research Letters, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Financial Innovation, Journal of Economics and Business, and Chaos, Solitons & Fractals. He has presented his research at international conferences and reviewed articles for several academic journals.
