Teaching

Dissertation topics suggested by the teacher.

  • Application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to products, processes and services for environmental impact assessment
  • Application of Material Flow Analysis (MFA) for identification and quantification of flows and stocks of resources and pollutants in systems at national, regional and global levels
  • Application of chemometric techniques for multivariate analysis (e.g., PCA - principal component analysis, cluster analysis, PLS - partial least squares) to datasets of interest in chemistry for the enviornment and the cultural heritage, and industrial chemistry
  • Application of chemomeric techniques for design of experiments (DoE) to support process optimization, efficiency improvements and sustainability
