Lorenzo Piroli is associate Professor in Theoretical Physics at the University of Bologna. After graduating in Physics in 2014 at the University of Pisa and at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa (Italy), he received his PhD in 2018 in SISSA, Trieste (Italy). Later, he has worked as a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics in Garching (Germany), and at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris (France). His research activity focuses on many-body quantum physics and quantum information theory, collaborating with different national and international research groups. He has authored more than 60 papers in international scientific journals.
