Psychiatrist. Clinical psychologist in developmental psychology. PhD in Neuroscience at the Sapienza University of Rome on "early interventions in psychosis and bipolar disorder". Assistant professor (senior researcher) in psychiatry since October 2022. My research interests included psychopathological, clinical, treatment and outcome topics on patients at the onset of psychosis and on individuals at high risk for psychosis treated in public mental health services. I have also developed specific interests in the field of Forensic Psychopathology, outcome analyses of rehabilitative and psychosocial interventions in mental health and transitional psychiatry. I worked for 25 years in different public mental health services (in both Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy regions in Italy). I directed departmental units of adult mental health services and mental health in prison. Since 2016, I am a stable member of the regional team on early intervention in psychosis of the Emilia-Romagna region. In 2023, I drew up the second edition of the regional recommendations for early intervention in psychosis.
