Research fellow, theatre critic, and educator. He teaches Performing Arts in the BA in Professional Education, Theatre Directing Laboratory at DAMS, and is a lecturer in the Master’s in Performing Arts Entrepreneurship. He leads workshops in criticism, communication, and storytelling (University of Cagliari, CAPAS – University of Parma, University of Rome Tor Vergata).
His research focuses on documentary theatre, the relationship between theatre and care, and twentieth-century Argentine theatre. He is currently conducting research on emerging modes of spectatorship (supervisor Matteo Casari).
His publications include: Scrivere con la realtà. Oggetti teatrali non identificati 2000–19 (Cue Press, 2023) and (ed.) Kepler-452, A Place of Safety. Viaggio nel Mediterraneo centrale (Luca Sossella Editore, 2025).
He is a member of the editorial staff of «Antropologia e Teatro» and of the editorial board of «Stratagemmi Prospettive Teatrali». He is among the founders of Altre Velocità and co-directs the journal «La Falena». He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Associazione Ubu per Franco Quadri.
