Short Bio

I am a philosopher of science. I carry out research on conceptual and methodological issues in the special sciences, with a focus on causal inference. Before my appointment at Bologna, I held research and teaching positions at several institutions, among which the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy at LMU, the University of Geneva, the Sant'Anna School of advanced Studies, and the IMT School for Advanced Studies.
