Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2021, she carries out her researches in the field of agro-environmental microbiology. Research interests aim in particular at the isolation and characterization of beneficial microorganisms for application in agriculture (PGPB, plant growth promoting bacteria), in livestock farming (probiotics) and in environmental remediation (bioremediation). She currently focuses her researches on the development of multi-strain products to support growth and alleviate crop stresses; furthermore, studies also focus on the link between the rhizospheric microbiota, plant health and pollinators' health. Engaged in national and international research projects, she collaborates with various European institutes and she is the author of several scientific publications.
